My name is Carley Cook, RMA (AMT).
I am a nationally certified Registered Medical Assistant through American Medical Technologists. I graduated from Ross College in January 2017 with honors and became a Registered Medical Assistant in June 2017. I want to work for a company that shares my values and offers opportunities to learn and grow as a professional.
Most recently, I managed the Department of Continuing Education at the University of Toledo as the Education Coordinator. I managed the daily job duties as well as created accredited continuing medical education activities for physicians. I also completed the Self-Study report and 15 Performance in Practice activity audits chosen by the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) for reaccreditation. I was responsible for training all department-level coordinators as well.
I always strive to stay as flexible as I can for anything that may happen throughout the day. I am exceptionally organized and like to be prepared for anything. Additionally, I enjoy training new staff when the opportunity arises. I am an incredibly patient and respectful person, with strong leadership qualities. I am very knowledgeable regarding technology and am always willing to assist others if needed.
I am a strong, hard-working, compassionate woman who is selfless, loyal and passionate. I am approachable, friendly and patient. I sincerely enjoy learning new things and am fascinated with medicine. I have worked in various types of customer service and healthcare jobs for over 10 years and know how to professionally, calmly, and effectively handle many different situations that can arise.
With the combination of my education and employment experiences, I know I am a positive asset to any company I am employed by and I sincerely look forward to meeting you!
